It's a simple line, but it's one we come back to often at Fern because it captures exactly what happened when Chase and Rosalie Tipps walked through our doors.
Before Fern was a shop full of botanical candles, pottery, and the whimsical world of Little Fern, it was an idea, and a mostly empty space. Turning that idea into the place you walk through today took vision, patience, and an enormous amount of care. That's where Chase and Rosalie came in.
More Than Contractors — Collaboration & Care
Chase and Rosalie are the team behind Prairie School Design, and if you've spent any time in Vidalia and the surrounding towns, there's a good chance their work has crossed your path without you even realizing it. They've helped shape the interiors of several commercial spaces around our area, each one bearing their signature touch of thoughtful, livable design.
At Fern, they didn't just execute a plan. They helped build the vision itself. Chase's gift for custom builds and Rosalie's eye for interiors came together to create the kind of space that feels curated in every direction you look, every shelf, every sightline, every detail that makes Fern feel like Fern carries their fingerprints.
Poured Into Every Detail
What sets Chase and Rosalie apart isn't just their talent- it's how much of themselves they put into the work. Anyone who has worked alongside them will tell you the same thing: they don't do anything halfway. They show up early, they stay late, and they treat every project like it matters, because to them, it does. Chase remembers the days Anna Marie's dad would take him for a Happy Meal after church. It's memories like that spark their generosity.
That same spirit of generosity shows up beyond their design work, too. Chase is known around the community not only for his craftsmanship but for the genuine care he brings to the people around him- the kind of presence that makes a project, and a town, better simply because he's part of it.
We are endlessly grateful for Chase and Rosalie Tipps, for pouring their energy, their time, and their care into every detail of Fern. It made all the difference, and it shows in every corner of this space.
